Meet the Artist

Meet the Artist allows parent volunteers to share pieces of art work with their children’s class, so that they can learn about the artist and the piece. The children are also able to discuss the paintings, form their own ideas and feelings about them and create their own personal artwork based on the lesson.
The artist prints, supplies, artist information and activity ideas are all in the ‘Meet the Artist’ cupboard in Room 401. In the information folders, you will find information about the artists and prints, questions for discussion and activity ideas*.
